Hey Randall, Instead of Going to Capital Markets To Raise Money, How About Raising Money From Residential Customers Like Me?

      Feeling the credit crunch?

      No problem.

Why not tap into the millions of residential customers and create a special class of stock that could invest, say, $10 per month and buy into the new Ma Bell?

How do we pay for it?

Simple:  put it on my monthly phone bill.

Today's story in USA Today, points to Randall Stephenson not being able to sell commercial paper.

Amidst the turbulence in capital markets, why not turn to consumers like me, who really like your service?

3Screens Readers:  if you had the chance to buy AT&T stock at $10 a month on dollar cost averaging, added to your phone bill, would you buy in?
