My only real comment is that it is not a blog about his home, the way 826 Cambridge Oval was. He is using his blog on the subject of animation and special effects.
Hi, I thought you might like to know that ... it worked. We sold our home from the blog. We haven't exchanged yet, but the survey was done yesterday. They've got their mortgage lined up and we should complete within six weeks. Not bad for a blog. Good luck with yours.

Yup. The sale went through ages ago and forgot to update you. The blog has enough traffic to merit SOMEBODY who might have wanted to buy my house. It's all about traffic at the end of the day. Cheers. - David
