"We want to move to Alamo Heights because of the school system."

This morning I was at 826 Cambridge Oval doing some yard work, when I saw a car slow down and cruise by the house. Their real estate agent, Rick Mulac, was driving  a couple with a child in the back seat.  I signaled to them and offered the chance to come see the house. 

They came inside and I showed them around.

"So, are you relocating to San Antonio?" I asked.

"No," the woman replied, "We currenly live in Sonterra (about 15 miles to the North) and want to move here because of the Alamo Heights school system."

If you have kids, and want the very best school system, this is the place to be.

Got Kids in the 1st to 6th Grade? They can walk to Cambridge Elementary School

If you happen to have kids that are in the 1st through 6th grade, you are in luck.  Cambridge Elementary School the other side of Cambridge Oval.   Just like in days gone past, you can (safely) walk your children to school, or if you feel they are old enough, they can walk on their own.

And if you are running late,  you don't have to sweat traffic.  You can just walk.
