Client, N-trig, the provider of DuoSense™ technology combining pen and zero-pressure touch for mobile computers into a single device, announced today that they have completed a fund-raising round of $28 million from Canaan Partners, Evergreen Venture Partners and current investors.
In addition to the investment round, N-trig has recently secured a credit facility of $5 million from Plenus, a leading Venture Lending Fund in Israel.
Because of the work I do with our Israeli clients, and because so much of the business comes through Israel's Venture Capital community, I try to promote the Israel Venture Capital Association initiatives.

The Israel Venture Association (IVA) in partnership with Red Herring magazine has announced the Second Annual Israeli Startup Contest in conjunction with the Israel Venture Association’s high-tech conference. This competition is an opportunity to showcase the Israeli hi-tech industry’s hottest start-ups on a world stage.
The winning nine companies will be profiled in Red Herring magazine and in the Israeli media, present their companies to an international audience of over 1,000 potential investors and industry analysts at the IVA Conference in Tel Aviv receive their awards from industry luminaries in a prestigious ceremony at the Conference
